We are hiring for our service and sales center at our locations in Bemidji, Brainerd and Duluth Minnesota.

Field Service Technician Job Profile and Description

Our field service technicians are individuals who perform repair work by traveling to various sites around Northern Minnesota. Their job is to troubleshoot any problems arising with electronic and mechanical equipment. Our field service technicians work in our organization specializing in the swimming pool and hot tub industry. You will work along with a fantastic group of other service technicians.

Field Service Technician Duties and Responsibilities

The various duties and responsibilities required to be carried out by our field service technicians.

They are as follows:

• Testing and repairing equipment by traveling to the location of the customer
• Providing troubleshooting as well performing installation of equipment
• Attending to the needs of the customer whenever required
• Performing the confirmation that the equipment is functional
• Sometimes they have to provide telephone support to the customer in order to perform troubleshooting
• Providing onsite services for individual as well as organizations
• Ensuring that the equipment on which they have performed troubleshooting are in proper working condition
• New Installations – Heavy lifting will be required, however we utilize equipment as much as possible

Field Service Technician Skills and Specifications

The skills and specifications required for a field service technician are as follows:

• Must have the ability to work independently or with less supervision
• Ability to maintain a organized mobile service van
• Needs to possess excellent troubleshooting skills
• Must have good customer service skills
• Ability to maintain good relations with customers
• Should have excellent verbal communication skills
• Must have the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to manage service calls
• Should not get frustrated at work

Field Service Technician Qualification:

The qualifications required for a field service technician are:

• High School Degree
• Technical experience with electrical and mechanical equipment
• Must have drivers license and pass all background checks
• Must have basic knowledge in computers

Field Service Technician Salary:
