Midnight Sun Pool & Spa is interviewing candidates for the position of CDL Driver & Equipment Operator for our Bemidji Minnesota based position covering Central and Northern Minnesota!

The CDL Driver / Equipment Operator will be responsible for loading and unloading machines and delivering materials to our customers, stores and warehouses, in an accurate and timely manner as well as operating machinery on job sites.  Operators are responsible for safely excavating, sorting and loading materials as well as physically assisting with the construction of the swimming pools.  The ideal candidate should be able to work with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast paced environment!  Our staff loves our jobs as we are generally in and out of job sites in 2 to 5 days, our customers love what we are providing them, and the ownership of the company provides nothing but the best equipment and tools to complete the work!

The Operator / CDL driver is responsible to preform pre and post inspections on all equipment including trucks, trailers, loaders and track hoes. Safely and efficiently operate equipment using proper standards. Safe transportation of equipment, inventory and tools from site to site, warehouse to site is required. Forklift experience is required. 

Job Duties include; but are not limited to the following:

• Load and unload machines on trailers.
• Performs simple vehicle maintenance; cleaning interior of vehicle, checking lights, checking tires, filling fluids, scheduling routine maintenance to keep vehicle running properly.
• Observes all traffic laws and posted speed limits.
• Interacts with the customer in a professional manner.
• Returns all required documentation to appropriate company official.
• Observes no smoking in delivery vehicle.
• Maintains a neat, clean personal appearance.
• Unloads vehicle after completing delivery runs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years related experience or equivalent
• Must have a valid Class A CDL drivers license
• Semi truck experience highly preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within changing priorities.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

The Warehouse/Stockroom associate will load, unload and prepare products to customers or other store locations in an efficient, accurate and timely matter. This position also assists our store personnel by stocking shelves and other tasks as needed.  Detail for inventory control is crucial.

Job Duties include; but are not limited to the following:

Our field service technicians are individuals who perform repair work by traveling to various sites around Northern Minnesota. Their job is to troubleshoot any problems arising with electronic and mechanical equipment. Our field service technicians work in our organization specializing in the swimming pool and hot tub industry - You will work along with a group of other service technicians.

*Field Service Technician Duties and Responsibilities*

The various duties and responsibilities required to be carried out by our field service technicians. They are as follows:

• Testing and repairing equipment by traveling to the location of the customer
• Providing troubleshooting as well performing installation of equipment
• Attending to the needs of the customer whenever required
• Performing the confirmation that the equipment is functional
• Sometimes they have to provide telephone support to the customer in order to perform troubleshooting
• Providing onsite services for individual as well as organizations
• Ensuring that the equipment on which they have performed troubleshooting are in proper working condition
• New Installations - Heavy lifting may be required, however we utilize equipment as much as possible

The skills and specifications required for a field service technician are as follows:

• Must have the ability to work independently or with less supervision

• Needs to possess excellent troubleshooting skills
